Jesse Bartlett put on a clinic on how to do a liitle bit of everything.  Jesse started the first round feeling out his opponent and finding his range.  The second round showed Jesse fighting off the ropes and landing clean uppercuts, damaging body shots, switched stances and started frustrating his opponent.  Jesse cruised to a unanamous decision.

Colby Brewster:  Cad B 105lbs novice. Colby entered this tournament being the youngest member of Team Teofista.  Colby has been training in Boxing since the age of 8 years old.  Colby entered the golden gloves being the underdog due to his age and weight.  Colby had a tuff and game opponent in the first round of the tournament.  Colby lost a close decision due to the inactivity of his offence.

Paul Jarvis:  Cad C 165lbs open.  Paul came into the tournament with only 6 days of training due to his other commitments of rugby.  Paul showed up in shape but lost his 2 fights due to the fact that he was not ring sharp.

Omar "Uzi" Mazouzi:  Cad C 152lbs novice.  Omar continues to impress keeping his unblemished record in tact at 9-0 now.  Omar out witted his brawling opponent landing a landslide of 1, 2 combinations.  Omar "Uzi" Mazouzi has won Bronze, Silver, and Golden Gloves all in one year, the only fighter in Teofista history to accomplish this.

Dean Pirija:  Jr. 165lbs Open.  Dean lost to the same fighter that beat Paul Jarvis.  Dean could not mount a steady assault and lost on points to Paul Mackenzie, a smart consistent veteran of the amateur scene.

Steve Claggett:  Jr 152lbs Open.  Steve Claggett showed what commitment to the sport will do in time, as he dispatched both his opponents by point’s stoppage and by KO.  Steve only managed to go 3 total rounds to win the Golden gloves title.

Roxie Lam: Sr. 132lbs Novice.  Roxie drew a "by" into the finals and rematched Paris Vera from Panther Boxing whom Roxie fought to a draw before losing on a count back at the silver gloves.  Roxie destroyed his opponent in the first two rounds but let Paris creep up to him in the final round.

Garry Louie:  Sr. 152lbs Novice.  Garry won his first fight by out boxing and out maneuvering his opponent.  Garry kept a tight defense in his final fight for the championship and out pointed his opponent.

Mark Elaschuck:  Sr. 200lbs Novice.  Mark was out weighed, out experienced but managed to lose a close split decision win over heavily favorite Kevin Wong of Panther Boxing.

Jason "Dooms" Day beats David "The crow" Louiseau in a three round split decision that saw Doomsday show his superior ring savy and ability to stay calm.  The Crow took Doomday down but could not mount a proper assault.  Even with The Crow on top Doomsday out husttled and out worked The crow.  Doomsday showed he was more comfortable on his feet, and worked accuratly when in the stand up clinch.  This was the biggest win of Jason "Dooms" Day's carreer.  Stay posted and follow Jason to the top of the UFC.
